Our Owner
Rhonda Brockington brown | Owner & LEad stylist
At a very young age, Rhonda was inspired by her mother, who was also a stylist and a salon owner. And in 2004, Rhonda opened the doors to Salon LaFaye.
What makes Rhonda your favorite stylist? First and foremost, she will sit down and will LISTEN to you. When it comes to consultations, she’s second to none. She works with you to learn what it is you want and exactly what it is you don’t want to provide you the perfect options to create your best hair day ever. It’s this that brings back her celebrity clientele, including TV personalities, YouTube stars, people that fly from New York and LA to come see her.
Rhonda’s specialties include advanced color services such as Balayage, Ombrés, Microweaving, and classic highlights. She also specializes in curly hair and precision haircuts that employ dry cutting techniques to ensure that the hair lays as it should in its natural state. Utilizing regular shears, Rhonda applies her texturizing skills to personalize each haircut to the individual. She finishes it all off with the perfect #bombshellblowout, the ultimate blow dry with bounce, body and shine. You will feel like a Victoria Secret Model walking out. No one ever leaves her chair feeling like they need to go home and re-style their hair.
Rhonda was born into the Atlanta hair scene and has 25+ years of experience alongside some its best talent from Buckhead to Roswell to Alpharetta. She attended Roffler Hairstyling College, now known as Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy, and became a color educator at one of the top ten salons in Atlanta where she worked for 10+ years. She has learned and continues to learn from the world’s best cutters and colorists in Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Having been an educator and ambassador for several national brands, Rhonda teaches nationally as an Aveda Color educator.
